A Humble Village
Robin J. Miller is a retired NYC art teacher, poet and artist. Her books include Back To School, The Jazz History Quilt and Rhythms of a Faithful Journey, which she co-authored with her husband, James W. Miller. Traveling to Africa with her church has served as a great inspiration for her poetry and art themes. Ms. Miller has been to Swaziland, South Africa, Morocco and Ghana. She learned of the Humble Place Project organization that helps children in Uganda from a friend, who was a social worker in her school.
One day she hopes to visit the children and village that she has written about.
