Newly arrived in the small Northern Ohio town of Normal Springs, Emma Davidson purchases a hundred year old run-down theatre, hoping to renovate it and restore the theatre to its former glory. But the theatre has other plans. Hindered by unknown forces fighting her restoration attempts, Emma seeks assistance from the town's attractive history expert, Peter Bennett, who discloses the local legends that the theatre is sentient.
