Janice McLaughlin is a resident of southwestern Pennsylvania. After retiring from nursing she began writing. In recent years she studied and mastered different forms of poetry. As a result she has published two books: an instructional one describing various poetry forms: The Nooce (sic) and Other Fun Poetry and Haiku Pennsylvania Perspective, which contains haiku and other forms of Japanese poetry.She is a mother, grandmother, and now because of her new role as great grandmother has decided to write a children's poem with illustrations for this book.This is a new venture that has proven very enjoyable. Look for a coloring book with the same characters to soon be available.
