I had a dad who never shared much of his life, and I always felt a big hole in my heart. I did not want our kids to feel the same void. So originally, I wrote this for them, but then I thought others might benefit from some of the hard and happy times I have walked through. I did not want these lessons go to waste So I invite you to listen in and take away whatever turns your crank. Someone said to me, "Don't write and autobiography, because no one would be interested." However, I have found that all people are God's unique story. Every person is a fascinating tale of happiness and sadness, tragedy and triumph, good and bad, flesh and spirit, masks and heart, success and failure. Over the years I have realized that the greatest adventure in life is listening to another person tell their story.
So I tell my story as honestly as I can so we can touch a little reality together. Thanks for listening. Jim May.
