Peter J. Marzano is the son of Irish and Italian immigrant families. Born in New York City's artistic neighborhood, Greenwich Village, he grew up on Staten Island. After attending Staten Island Community College, he worked for the NY Telephone company as a central office technician and completed a four-year union apprenticeship in the construction trade. He then began a career in sales, sales management and project management with divisions of General Dynamics, United Technologies, AT&T, and later as the VP of Sales and Marketing for a New England based industrial sales company. In all, his work in telecommunications and industrial sales spanned forty-five years while travelling nationally and internationally for 20 years. In 1997 he received a master's degree in Management from Cambridge College in Cambridge, Massachusetts while with AT&T.Father of four and grandfather of eleven, he is married 5o years to his high school sweetheart, Kathleen (Coyle).

He enjoys golfing, family and wild-life photography, and currently lives in Durham, Connecticut.Search and Deception, his second novel, is a sequel to Litany of Sorrows, is his first novel.
