Jan M. Martin has been writing since about age 9, when she wrote a monthly 4-H report for her local newspaper. In addition to HEIR OF DECEIT, she is the author of MY WORD THAT'S ABSURD and IMPRESSIONS OF INNOCENCE, all of which are available on Amazon.com. She is fond of writing slap-stick comedic poetry on diverse topics such as Black Friday, Mother's Day, and her messy kitchen. Read some of them and other writings on her website: janmar916.wix.com/janmmartin, and in her short humor book, MY WORD THAT'S ABSURD.
She is a member and former chapter officer of the American Night Writers Association.Jan M. Martin lives in southern Arizona with her husband. They have six children. She loves cactus flowers, saguaros, road runners, and horned toads-oh, yes, and people. She enjoys cooking, teaching, and learning. She has worked as a field representative-aka social worker-for the State of Utah, and as a Tobacco Prevention and Nutrition Educator in southern Arizona. She has taught religious education to high-school-aged students for the past 31 years as a volunteer.
She describes writing Heir of Deceit as the most fun she's ever had. Though it is not a comedy, she hopes readers can detect its tongue-in-cheek nature.
