DK Yingst is a cartoonist and digital artist from southeast Louisiana and has an MFA in sequential art from the Savannah College of Art and Design. She created the graphic novel adaptation of Karen's Grandmothers by Ann M. Martin. DK loves cute coming-of-age stories, going for meandering hikes, and playing farming sims to relax.
