Francesco Marciuliano is the author of Sally Forth, an internationally syndicated family comic strip that appears in nearly 800 newspapers around the world. He was also the Head Writer for the highly praised PBS children's series SeeMore's Playhouse, for which he won two 2007 Emmys. In 2005 Francesco's play, This Isn't Working, was a featured production at the New York International Fringe Festival, where it sold out almost its entire run and was highlighted by The New York Times in its Arts & Leisure section. In addition, he received a 2009 Webby Awards Achievement certificate for his work on the hugely popular 'Sarah Palin Vlogs' YouTube series, which was covered by CNN, Newsweek, The New Yorker, ABCnews.com and other media sources. In addition to his cartoon work, Francesco's writing has also appeared in The Onion News Network, TimeOut New York, McSweeney's, PRINT Magazine and numerous other online and print publications. The Washington Post, The Dallas Morning Herald, The Philadelphia Inquirer and the Public Broadcasting System have interviewed him. He has appeared on Sirius-XM radio several times, made regular public appearances at the New York Comic Con Convention and has been a featured guest on countless podcast shows online.
He was also featured as 'Mr. January' for the '2009 Hot Bloggers Calendar,' an achievement that brought him no end of embarrassment and emails.
