This book was inspired by a workshop created in 2018 by the author, Diego Maggio (inthe picture). This text has the same purpose as the seminar that preceded it, which is todiscuss the fruit of the author's personal experience throughout a twenty-year careerthat allowed him to teach worldwide Dr. John Edwin Upledger's CranioSacral Therapyand SomatoEmotional Release® in over 400 seminars. The specificity of the subject(separations, abandonment, death, and loss) might seem to be in contrast with thesubtitle of the book, "Ode to Life." On the contrary, the parts of human experience thatare the most challenging, and yet the most common, are also the greatest expressionsof Life within the biological process of an individual's Life Cycle. In fact, they give us achance to address both the extreme fragility and the huge potential of the adaptabilityand transformation that are inherent characteristics of each open system "human being."The author aims to give the reader an opportunity to get to know a peculiar aspect ofCranioSacral Therapy, and to use it as an aid to understand, address, transform, andovercome the stress that traumatic events cause in everyone's life.
