When the horribly mutilated body of a young female student turns up in a derelict building in downtown New York it would appear at first glance to be just another crime statistic. But the savage, ritualistic nature of her death causes aging homicide detective Art Gardner, and his partner Gina Carcia, to believe they're hunting down a ruthless and sadistic serial killer.They don't have to wait long to prove their theory, as the body of another young female turns up bearing the same brutal injuries as the first victim.
