When his girlfriend fails to turn up for a rendezvous, Greg is hurled into an international conspiracy that takes him from the safety of his dreamlike New York life to the cold harsh reality of communist North Korea. There he meets his captor, an enigmatic female police officer with whom he tries to make connections.
