Rebecca Michael Zeissler has been an illustrator for more than 25 years. Working primarily with pen and ink, Michael Zeissler also employs watercolor, colored pencil and digital coloring techniques with her art.Michael Zeissler's work has been widely published in newspapers and magazines, with the primary focus being children's publications, such as "Chicago Parent Magazine," for which her artwork won the Best Cover Illustration award from Parenting Publications of America. After a lengthy stint as a software specialist and database administrator, Michael Zeissler is once again fully committed to her artwork, creating twelfth-scale miniature oil paintings and illustrating children's books.Michael Zeissler studied art and design at Eastern Illinois University, and is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and the Miniature Art Society of Florida (MASF).
