Coast Guard petty officer Kristi Swanson makes a heroic rescue at sea. Her former romantic interest, Vince Ayala, now her superior, prases her and encourages her to pursue a commission. The officer in charge, however, sets conditions on her endorsement. In order to get what she wants, Kristi will have to spy on her coworkers and betray their trust. Will she do what she needs to do for her career, or remain a trusted part of the team? Kristi must decide as the relationship with Vince rekindles and the pursuit of a drug ring complicates her decision.
