I'm a Native of Pontiac, Michigan where I have lived most of my life with my family. I attended schools in the city of Pontiac and I'm a graduate of Pontiac Northern High School. Growing up as a child I used to sit around the kitchen watching my Grandmother, Helen Lee, cook and bake almost every day. That's what really sparked my interest in cooking and baking. I would always ask to help her with whatever I could so that I could learn to be a great cook like she is. When I was in high school, I remember taking culinary classes at Oakland Technical Center so that I could learn new skills in the kitchen, in which was very valuable because it lead me to really create foods in the kitchen. It came to a point in which I had gotten so good; people would ask me to buy the foods that I cooked. From that point on, I stayed in the kitchen and did everything from giving parties, family gatherings, cookouts, and celebrating holidays at my house.
I'm always putting my own spin on foods and making them better. This is my first cookbook and I hope to one day have a series of cookbooks and even a nice quaint restaurant of my own.
