Charles has been an English teacher, counselor, teaching at middle and high schools, and colleges, and worked as a counselor in public schools and at a hospital based treatment center. He's trained middle and high school students as mediators and community advocates, taught parenting skills, and group facilitation skills to adults. He's been a featured speaker at conferences around the midwest and Canada, co-directed Partner's Institute at the University of Minnesota in Duluth, training high school students in friendship skills, and worked at Onsite in Tennessee. He holds a teaching degree in Speech/Communication and English, a Master's degree in Education and a Master's degree in Psychology. He lives in Minnesota with his amazing wife Renee; they have two adult children that are married to wonderful spouses. The have four spectacular grandchildren. Charles swims in gratitude on a daily basis.
