BA Baracas, Murdock, Michael Knight, Bo and Luke Duke, Don Johnson and Steve Austen: Kirk Rush bears no resemblance to any of these people. But this doesn't stop him from wishing he did, and slipping all too often (and all too easily) into the fantasy world of his TV heroes. Kirk is a struggling screenwriter, eking out an existence in fog-filled, sun-soaked LA. Born in Croydon, named after Kirk Douglas and addicted to the action TV shows of the 80's he's been offered the dream job of writing the 'A-team' movie - provided he can set it just after the Gulf War and make Face bi-sexual. But Kirk's attempts to focus on his script are thwarted by the news that his younger sister Denise has taken herself off dialysis and is planning to commit 'assisted-suicide' with the help of the notorious 'Dr Death' and his sisters-of-mercy. Should Kirk attempt to stop her? Assuming, that is, that he can find her. With the voice of his car KITT chipping away at his conscience, and despite his attempts to BLANK out his past - a past that includes his failure to offer himself as his sister's kidney donor - Kirk is determined to try and live his life as though it's badly scripted action movie, with conseq.
