Graceful Transformation: A Healing Coloring Journey was created by Artist and Creative Workshop Facilitator, Bonnie Kelso. Inspired by her work with the Las Vegas Rescue Mission's clients in addiction recovery, she created this book in their honor. Her intention is to take the proceeds from the sales of this book to support her continued service for this cause. Bonnie believes strongly in the healing power of creative expression. She believes that a consistent allowance of thought provoking creative activity and self-expression beautifully supports and compliments the work of any addiction recovery programming. "When thoughts become too painful to express with language, the physical language of mark-making helps to facilitate the necessary release of emotions," observes Bonnie. "I strive to present themes and materials in a non-threatening way. I always encourage people to engage in their natural child-like desire to play.
