A fabulous long lost treasure is guarded by an ancient Vampyre in a mountaintop stronghold. An Irishman and his friend fight the Vampyre and a pair of British brothers for the Gold. The main plot illustrates how evil leads to destruction. The counterplot shows how Greed also leads to a dead end. The Love story subplot conveys to the audience that Love conquers all.
Many different dialects are brought in to play. The lead characters ride horses and wear Western style clothes. The start of Prohibition and the ripple effect that it had on border towns has a vital role. The mountains, rivers, the desert and other local attractions are exploited in this unique hybrid Opus. Colors are used in various artistic ways to denote good or evil. The viewer is given superior position from the very start and various plants that arouse curiosity later pay off. Obstacles, barriers, and double reverse dead ends are employed throughout this roller coaster ride. Lessons are learned.
The bottom line is that we aren't sure if the Vampyre lives or dies in the end.
