Dr Muhammad Reza Kazimi (b.Bombay, 1945) teaches and supervises research at the University of Karachi in the fields of Islamic, Pakistan and European Studies. His publications include Liaquat Ali Khan: His Life & Work (2003/2015), A Concise History of Pakistan (2009) and the Blood of Husayn (2011), and monographs (2015) titles The Raja of Mahmudabad: A Political Study, The 1965 Indo-Pakistan War A Historical Appraisal, and Z.A Bhutto & The Historiography of 1971. He has written papers on Nahj al-Balagha: Text & Context, Masudi & Cultural Geography and a review article on The Oxford History of Islam. Dr Kazimi has also published literary criticism in Urdu.
