Redwood Kardon is the original creator of the popular Code Check field guides to building codes. He is an electrical consultant and trainer based in Philadelphia, PA. He received his electrical training at Los Angeles Trade Technical College, and after graduation spent 10 years as a working electrician and electrical contractor. For many years, he was an electrical inspector for the City of Oakland, California, where he was certified as an electrical and combination dwelling inspector. He provides seminars on codes and electrical safety, as well as arc-flash studies for industry.
