HRH The Prince of Wales (Author) HRH The Prince of Wales has been an environmental leader for over forty years, working with businesses, charities, governments and others to help promote sustainable ways of living and working. He made his first speech on the environment in December 1968 and has long warned of the irreversible effects of climate change. In October 2007 he set up the Prince's Rainforests Project to slow tropical deforestation and combat climate change, and in 2010 his International Sustainability Unit was established to facilitate consensus on key environmental challenges, including how best to protect food security and sustain vital ecosystems. The Prince of Wales has also sought to address climate change challenges through his patronage of the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership and its Corporate Leaders Group on Climate Change. Ladybird (Author) We make growing up the best story ever! Here at Ladybird, we publish playful books for little hands.
