My name is David Jordan I write fiction, non-fiction, and poetry. One of my poems was featured in International Poetry's Top 100 Poems of 2017 I was born in former Yugoslavia during wartime. My earliest memories are of my family fleeing from our native country just to survive, needless to say, this made a great impression on me and contributed to my perception on things from a very young age. We moved to Sydney, Australia in December of 1996. I rapidly learned the English language and became obsessed with all things sci-fi and magic. Quickly becoming consumed by the Star Wars and Harry Potter universes - while very firmly being a truth hunter due to my experience in Yugoslavia - I knew that one day I wanted to live in worlds just like that, they had to be real. I was sure of it. I grew up and realised the next best thing, if they didn't exist at least I could create them, however I liked.

And create I did.
