Will Jones was born in Philadelphia and educated at Susquehanna University and Cal Poly State University. He is a retired high school English teacher and high school principal. Will has been writing poems since 1968, and has been active in the San Luis Obispo, CA poetry community for over thirty years. His poems have appeared in local publications and in Corners of the Month, an anthology celebrating thirty years of the San Luis Obispo Poetry Festival. His poem "Duffey" was a finalist for the Sandy Crimmins National Poetry Prize, sponsored by Philidelphia Stories magazine, in 2017. His collection True Stories from My Past: Volume 2 was published in 2015.
