Life Skills is a 8 month topic series of real life discussions and scenarios that school age children have either experienced or may need to be aware of. This series is used in the classroom during the first fifteen minutes of class in the morning. Having real life discussions gives students an opportunity to have a voice and discuss relatable conversations with their peers. Students are able to support each other on how to resolve conflicts, deal with peer pressure and provides ways to stay safe. Students having open dialogue and writing daily is carthic, a means of healing similar to journaling. It's also, a great way to enhance writing skills when preparing for Standardized Test.
