After a five-year sojourn in Oklahoma, then eight years in the beautiful Carolinas, native Texan Myra Johnson and her husband are happy to be home once again in the Lone Star State enjoying wildflowers, Tex-Mex, and real Texas barbecue! Myra has been writing stories for as long as she can remember. Her published novels have garnered many awards, including top honors in Christian Retailing's Best for historical fiction and the National Excellence in Romance Fiction Awards. Her books have also earned acclaim in the ACFW Carol Awards, Georgia Romance Writers Maggie Awards, Selah Awards, HOLT Medallion, and Faith, Hope and Love Christian Writers Reader's Choice Awards. Married for 50-plus years, Myra and her husband have two beautiful daughters married to wonderful Christian men, plus seven amazing grandchildren and a beautiful great-granddaughter.
