The Peel Family of Montgomery County, Texas is the story of ten generations of Peels, beginning with Thomas Peel, born in Northern Ireland, through Thomas Ray Peel, who arrived in Montgomery County in about 1837 and ending with the children and grandchildren of Robert Harolde Peel who currently resides in Montgomery County. Although there were many branches along the way, this story focuses on the single line between Thomas Peel of Northern Ireland and Robert Harolde Peel of Montgomery County.
