ICPADS 2006 provides an international forum for scientists, engineers, and users to exchange and share their experiences, new ideas, and latest research results on all aspects of parallel and distributed systems. The proceedings explores the scientific and technological advancements and innovations in the area PADS and demonstrate new opportunities and solutions in PADS applications. The papers included in the proceedings cover all aspects of theory, design and application of parallel and distributed computing systems. The second volume of the proceedings contains these three workshops that address important as well as emerging areas of research relating to parallel and distributed systems. They complement very well the overall theme of ICPADS while providing an informal venue for generating focussed discussions.
