There are fifty-two hours left before Earth is destroyed. A hostile alien race is closing in, and there's only one being in the galaxy who can stop them. Her name is Maia. Part of a special group of aliens known as the Protectors, she comes to Earth with one goal: save the planet. Unused to the ways of Earth, she enlists Clark Wellington, a young gas station attendant, to help her.
