Jack Holden was born and educated in England. Several years after leaving college, he started traveling around Europe working on contracts in the publications industry. Jack spent twenty years in continental Europe, working in Germany, Spain, Italy, Holland and Switzerland. While working in Spain, he met his future wife, an American teacher working in Madrid. They were married on Gibraltar and lived on the Costa del Sol for the next eight years before moving to the USA. Jack founded a magazine that was circulated along the Spanish coast and had numerous international subscribers.He also worked for two English language newspapers and, for a short period, co-produced and appeared in a series of TV video productions about Christian churches along the southeast coast of Spain.After moving to the USA in 2002, Jack changed careers and started working in the Geographical Information System (GIS) industry.

In Huntsville, Alabama, he joined the geospatial intelligence division of a large civil defense contractor as a Proposal Manager. Later his work required him to relocate to Virginia.In 2013, Jack decided to leave corporate America and become an independent publisher and novelist. Jack now lives near Baltimore, Maryland where he enjoys spending lots of time with his wife, writing in any genre he wants, working from home and not having the daily fight with the horrendous Interstate 95 traffic.
