Michelle Herman is the author of three nonfiction collections and memoirs: Like A Song, Stories We Tell Ourselves, and most recently, The Middle of Everything. Her novels and story collections include Close-Up, Devotion, Dog, A New and Glorious Life, and Missing. She directed the MFA program at Ohio State for many years.
