Brothers of Light , first published in 1937, is a classic account of the Penitent Brotherhood in New Mexico as it existed in the earlier part of the 20th century. Included are 14 full-page woodcuts by William Penhallow Henderson and a number of Penitente alabados (hymns) in both Spanish and English.
