Jennifer Hart is an author, illustrator and art director born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. Playing pretend and made-up adventures in her backyard with friends as a kid fostered the curiosity and creativity she now uses in her work. As a shy, kind and fun-loving girl she sought out creative outlets in writing competitions, art classes, band, music lessons and sketching. After graduating college Hart became a graphic designer and then an art director. She landed jobs at major companies forging the way for creativity in their own industries, such as; The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, HotelOps.io, Capriotti's and Parq Vancouver. As an adult, she found a passion for travel and set a goal to visit at least one place she's never been each year. "Baxter Goes To Imagination Land" is Hart's debut children's book.
It's the first in a series about adventure, creativity and kindness starring her dog, Baxter. Follow your imagination past the sneaker trees and cupcake bees to a place only you can see.
