Pam had an exemplary career maintaining a private practice in counseling and psychotherapy in Knoxville, Tennessee, for over 41 years. She remained connected with her hometown, Tellico Plains, where her dad served as Tellico Plains mayor for 31 years. He was the force behind the building of the Cherohala Skyway and the development of the Charles Hall Museum, a non-profit 501(c)(3) history museum. Pam has served on the board since its inception in 2002 as an officer and archivist for her dad's massive collections of area pictures and documents. She authored The Pictorial History of Tellico Plains, The Collections of Charles Hall in 2011 that is in its 4th printing as well as other works. Since her father's death, for the last eight years, she is the volunteer curator of the Hall Museum, bringing national recognition and markers to the museum and the town of Tellico Plains through certifications and displays. Pam once again calls Tellico Plains home along with her husband, Kent. They maintain the Sycamore Creek Trail in the Tellico Ranger District for the Benton MacKaye Trail Association.
The Tellico mountains continue to be their favorite place to camp, fish and hike with their children and grandchildren.
