Julie put herself through college by working as a waitress and a data entry clerk. She also earned a partial-scholarship in athletics and was an exchange student to Japan. After graduation, she earned her keep as a bookkeeper, a weekend sheepherder, and a sales rep for Pepsi-Cola. Julie currently works in data research and lives in Washington state with her family and a bunch of very bossy chickens. She feels honored to have had the opportunity to care for such an amazing creature as a blind horse.
