These articles are a collection of my point of view, according to the input I have received, at the time of writing them. I am kind-of funny about getting thing right correct, but I am also impatient. So I sometimes use too many words trying to clearly communicate ideas, then I do something contrary like publish my articles before I have fully proofread them, or tuned them to my best offering. I hope it does not come across as a "know it all" or as if I am preaching, because I surely do not know it all, and I am not is any kind of position to preach, but I believe you will find value and interesting things within these pages.Oh well, I am me. They will help you understand how principles work, the difference between principles and techniques, and if applied, will assist you in your pursuit of a "life well lived." Living life well is likely different for all of us. To a mountaineer it has to do with mountains and the activities associated with them. To the golfer it has to do with swinging clubs, chips, and putting golf balls. To the runner, it has to do with jogging, running, and completing marathons; but they all, in their own way, help open the secrets to living life well, as do other activities. By understanding golf, a mountain climber will find there are things which golf has taught them, that will cross over and help them be a better mountain climber; and the golfer who understands mountain climbing will have an edge over golfers who don't. It has been my experience this is the case with all activities we participate in. Obviously, some more directly apply, but to the observant person, there will be many more crossover skills, ideas, and techniques than will not be apparent with only a casual view or examination.
The same is true about life, our activities or interests, be that sports, playing games in the park, or just sitting around the house, offers us ideas, thoughts, and insights into ways which will aid us in playing the game of life better; as well as tennis, football, or whatever your interests are. "This concept or idea seems to hold true in all cases." These articles open insights, provide varying perspectives, opinions, truths, and techniques, but most of all, they help identify the principles behind, or associated with participating or living all aspects of life well.Why principles are the key to living and enjoying the limited time we have to experience life, as we may. At times life can be very challenging, other times extremely exhilarating, but the majority of our time is spent in the medium, medium low, and medium high area. Since principles never change, they end up being the pure gold of knowledge. This is not true in regards to techniques, ways, means, and methods, they change depending on the circumstances, time, location, etc., to help me remember and use this concept I have memorized this saying:"Ways, Means, Methods, and Techniques change, Principles never do.
