Bill Haney has had a hand in more than four hundred books as author, co-author, ghost writer, editor, publisher or consultant in a 54-year career. He founded a scholarly book-publishing program at the Institute for Social Research, was named associate director and managing editor of the University of Michigan Press, and founded three commercial publishing companies specializing in non-fiction, with emphases on subjects of particular interest to readers in the state of Michigan, as well as national interests. As an author, he published memoir, including the critically acclaimed FROM BIG BEAVER TO THE BIG APPLE; WHAT THEY WERE THINKING: Michigan Men and Women Who Made a Difference; and CHASING DREAMS IN THE BOONDOCKS, among others. He had simultaneous careers in marketing communications, including roles as Executive Vice President of leading international marketing companies.
