Tom Grant is a former Los Angeles County Sheriff's detective who later became a private investigator. In April of 1994 he was hired to try to locate Kurt Cobain after Cobain had gone missing from a California rehab facility. Mr. Cobain was later found dead at his house in Seattle Washington. The police ruled his death a suicide. Tom Grant believes Cobain was murdered.
