I am only a working class guy who decided to get into writing when my wife passed after a long illness, I found writing helped me fill the gap that was left in my life when she departed and also felt good. All my children are now grown up so I have more time the last few years to write. My dream was to have a novel published which I did and now I want to follow on from that and have my second done which is also a follow up to my first Ice Blue. I am not after fame or lots of money but would love to know that people enjoy reading my work, and long after I am gone.I went to a secondary modern school where the English teachers encouraged me to write after I came top of the year in a book writing exam which surprised them all.
