Rifle struggles with the death of a friend, but realizes that the fight is far from over when Meryl falls ill. He confronts Constance, the witch who cast a sickness on Meryl that also infects the people she sees as family: namely Arnie, Stella, and Rifle. Talon attacks and takes Meryl before they can find a way to reverse Constance's spell. Will Rifle be able to stop Talon and save his friends, or will he have to watch more of his friends die as he, himself, succumbs to the Deadly Nightshade?.
