Quack This Way : David Foster Wallace and Bryan A. Garner Talk Language and Writing
David Foster Wallace (1962-2008) was probably the greatest writer of his generation. He wrote the acclaimed novels Infinite Jest and The Broom of the System, as well as the story collections Oblivion, Brief Interviews with Hideous Men, and Girl with Curious Hair. His nonfiction includes the essay collections Consider the Lobster and A Supposedly Fun Thing I'll Never Do Again, together with the full-length Everything and More and the posthumously published commencement speech This Is Water. He committed suicide in September 2008.
