Torah Lite.It Could Be Verse is an attempt to put the Five Books of Moses (The Torah) into rhyme. It is a witty adaptation of the essential portions written in modern English. It is easy to read and captures the basic context of each of those portions. For instance, you might ask why it took Moses 40 years to cross the desert? My poetic answer was simply that they were led by men and no one would stop to ask for directions. Included, also in rhyme, are biblical stories such as Jonah and the Whale, David and Goliath, and King Solomon to name a few.
