Detroit gave birth to the car mass manufacturing age of the 20 century where cheap oil fueled the demand and growth of the city. The depression saw Detroit hit hard with job loss, poverty which lead to a mass exists from the city. Until world war two ushers in new blood, as many of the heavy machines of war where built in Detroit and new hope began to rise. That however, was short lived, due to the slow decay of the city, which had taken root. In the 21 century car manufacturing is a shadow of its former self and still dying a slow death, much of the city and surrounding suburbs are empty, abounded and rotting away. There is only crime and hopeless left. The city is ripe for the picking for those to who have evil in mind. That was then in the past and now, the present.
The whole city is fenced off with the National Guard it's only in habitants. I am partly to balm for the death of Detroit. Now that I am older and wiser, the time has come to leave an account of what happen. So my children don't walk down the same path of hopeless and despair and allow it to take root. Detroit was home and was also my pain and suffering. My name is Michael. I have no last name as I do not officially exist. I am fifty with two young children under the age of ten.
That's all I will mention of them, as for me. This account started when I was seventeen, six foot three in height with broad shoulders. I am lean but muscling, light green eyes, blond hair that hang to the top of my ear with high cheek bones. I was a very impressionable, young man with raging hormones. I was attending Maryland's public high. The school is in a bad state of repair, due to years of funds being cut from the education department. Majority of the money that is being spent. Was need for law enforcement.
(This is what we have all been told at the time).
