Debbie Freeman is a former elementary school teacher and author of the primary companion book, Wild Bill, Do You Want To Be A Pack Mule? Formerly from Wyoming, she researched Wild Bill and the Army pack mule system developed by Brigadier-General Crook while volunteering at the air force base museum. She now resides in northern Florida with her husband and still takes yearly ventures back west to keep her Wyoming frame of mind (and snow ski)!.
