The Rev. Dr. Debbie Carl Freeman is a Presbyterian minister with a fondness for storytelling. A native of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Debbie is a graduate of the University of Tulsa, Union Presbyterian Seminary, and Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. In nearly twenty-five years of ministry she has served congregations in Scotland, Virginia, and Arkansas where she has lived for the past 22 years. Freida the Singing Frog is Debbie's first children's book, but she has written for a variety of other publications. Debbie's husband, Jim, is also a Presbyterian minister. The couple have two children, Lindsay and William.
