Dr Bashabi Fraser CBE is an award-winning poet, Professor Emerita of English and Creative Writing, Director of the Scottish Centre for Tagore Studies (ScoTs), Editor-in-Chief at 'Gitangali and Beyond', Honorary Fellow for the Centre for South Asian Studies at the University of Edinburgh and declared an 'Outstanding Woman of Scotland' by the Saltire Society in 2015.
