Bashabi Fraser is a Bengali poet and writer who has strong cultural links with Scotland and India. She holds a BA, MA and PhD in English and is currently Lecturer in Literature at Napier University, Edinburgh and a part-time lecturer at the Centre for South Asian Studies at Edinburgh University. Bashabi has received many awards and grants including the British Academy Society for South Asian Studies and a Scottish Arts Council Writer's Grant. Bashabi has written extensively on multiculturalism and is the author of several poetry collections exploring her Indo-Scots heritage. Kenny Munro has been actively working as a sculptor and educator for over 20 years undertaking commissions for the private and public sectors. He has built a reputation for innovative international projects, celebrating cultural diversity and promoting creative, collaborative 'field-work'. His work can be found is diverse locations from Edinburgh, Munich, Adelaide to Bengal. He also writes articles on arts empowerment, ecology and sustainable transport issues.
