Each of the six books in the pack have fresh new covers with exciting illustrations by a variey of artists. This poetry selection has been chosen to match topics relevant to the age group - monkeys, castles, dragons, seeds, snow and stars. The level of difficulty matches Y3 T1/P4 T1. Although the poems are completely independent of other Oxford Reading Tree Stories, they contain the same themes as in the new edition Oxford Reading Tree Jackdaws Anthologies. The Teaching Notes booklet included in the pack offers a Vocabulary Chart listing Rhymes and Spelling patterns and Year 1-2 high frequency words for each of the individual poems within a title; a Curriculum coverage chart showing teaching objectives covered; and suggestions for Speaking and Listening, Guided/Group reading, and Writing activities.
