Sarah Fisher adopted her son in 2014. She is a writer, coach, trainer and speaker. In 2015, she founded the Single Adopters Network which provides support for single adopters. As a trained NVR Practitioner, she uses her experience and training to help other parents who struggle to manage their children's behaviour. She also works with charities and organisations working with children and families. Through her book Adopting Solo, she hopes to inspire many more single adopters, helping them to cope, learn parenting skills, and thrive with their adopted children. Sarah Fisher shares her journey as a single adopter. With humour and honesty, she talks about life as the parent of a traumatised child and how, over time, they are building a bond and healing wounds.
The road has been bumpy but they're moving forwards. And that's all that matters.
