Chris Epting is an award-winning journalist and author of over 20 pop culture books, including Led Zeppelin Crashed Here: The Locations of America's Rock and Roll Landmarks, Roadside Baseball, James Dean Died Here and local history books. Reinbolt was raised in Los Angeles, was a US Navy Medic in the Korean War and enjoyed a longtime career as a dedicated secondary English teacher. He is a resident of Huntington Beach. Dean Torrence, along with Jan Berry, pioneered the surf music craze in the 1960s as Jan and Dean. Torrence, a legendary musician and also well-known graphic artist, is a long-term resident of Huntington Beach.
