About Steve EllisSteve grew up on a 250-acre farm in Kentucky where they raised all kinds of crops and livestock. At an early age, he learned the financial principle of diversification. His parents also instilled in him the discipline, diligence, and work ethic that would prepare him for a successful financial planning career.Steve is a managing partner of Seasons Financial Group, LLC and serves as its Chief Financial Officer. He is a Certified Financial PlannerTM, an active member of the Financial Planning Association and Kingdom Advisors, and a Life Purpose Coach through the ministry of Your One Degree. He also teaches classes and is a part of the worship team for his church.Steve has been married to Melissa for since 1978. They have five children and six grandchildren (so far).
His personal interests include playing music (guitar, drums, etc.), photography, travel, woodworking, and remodeling projects.About Stan RicknerStan is a graduate of Oklahoma State University, the father to three adult children, and grandfather and two beautiful granddaughters.His interest include running, cycling, snow skiing, and alpine hiking with his dogs, Kiley and Rex, and anyone else who will go with him. He enjoys every aspect of the outdoors as well as the changing seasons.Stan has always been active in his communities and has served on, and chaired, a number of church, sport, and charitable boards. He currently chairs the business development board of the Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma of which he is a tribal member.He worked for thirteen years as a consultant to many of the world's largest oil companies, traveling extensively and working with clients in over thirty countries around the globe, living abroad during part of that time.
His work included consulting with multinational companies on business development through resource optimization, competitive positioning, and management.Stan joined the financial services industry in 1993 in order to travel less and spend more time with his young family. He founded Seasons Financial Group in January 2000 to solidify his commitment to his clients and become independent of the big Wall Street firms, while managing the firm in a morally and ethically sound manner.
